Covid_19 Update - April 07, 2020

Good Morning,

First, I hope that everyone is hanging in there ok.  It’s been a strange few weeks, and we wanted to update everyone on the shop.  Yes, we do fall into the “non essential” businesses.  This means our physical store location is temporarily closed.  We are also no longer able to do curbside pick ups, those with orders that have been placed (I will make arrangements with you to deliver or mail to you) With that said, we’ve come up with ways for you to access the yarn and notions you may need/want.  

How to get your supplies:

• Online, you can shop online at www.aberdeenswool.ca anytime. We are shipping Monday through Friday, and we are doing all we can to ship within 1-2 business days of your order.  If there is an exception we will contact you.
• We recognize that many aren’t comfortable with online shopping, so phone in orders are available.  The shop phone number is 705-928-5417.  Someone will be in the shop Monday/Wednesday and Thursday from 11-2, or by chance.  Please feel free to leave a message on our voice mail if we aren’t there, and we will contact you as soon as we are in the shop.
• Email orders are also available, please email heather@aberdeenswool.ca I will try and get back to you very quickly.  You can also message us through the facebook page.
• We also recognize the need for alternate payment methods at this time.  If you would rather use a non credit card for of payment, please contact by phone or email, and we can arrange for e transfer, or alternate method.

We also will be adjusting the flat rate shipping fee, to ensure that yarn remains accessible to everyone, we will be implementing a flat rate shipping fee of $5 on all orders.  This way whether you need a small amount of yarn, or a large amount, the shipping is less of a financial barrier for everyone.

We also have a special code for all of you to us at checkout the code is “lockdown” it is a one time use code.

We will be doing a big shop update of Tangled Poets in the next few days.  That will be fun.

Also, if you are feeling isolated, we do have a MKAL (Mystery Knit Along) happening, its a great group, and there are no deadlines with it, everyone is very welcoming, and encouraging.  (Think of it as virtual stitch and bitch, so to speak)

We hope everyone is still healthy, if your heart is heavy, know there are people sending you good vibes, and a virtual sanitized hug.  Be well everyone, we will get through this together.
