Continue ShoppingHappy New Year Everyone!
I can’t believe we’ve rolled into a new decade. It feels strange and reflective, all in the best ways. I was fortunate enough to enjoy New Years Eve with my husband in the beautiful city of Austin, Texas. We’ve spent 5 days driving from Ontario and about to roll into Corpus Christie. Tonight I’m writing from San Antonio.
So the last year has been insane, and I really appreciate you all so much. I’ve learned while being cooped up in the car, that I need to take a few more minutes off a day than I have been doing. I also really miss my knit time. So I have decided that being its 2020, I was going to compile a list of 20 things I am going to knit in 2020. This list is going to come at you in 4 parts, each day I will post five patterns, with links, and all the info. I hope you enjoy.
It would be amazing if you’ve also made a list, to post to our socials, and share with us what your top patterns foe 2020 are. We love to see what everyone is working on.
Happy Knitting, Happy 2020
Much Love and Gratitude

#1) The yarn I’ve selected is Festivity by Sugarbush, I’m on the fence between Paddyfest (green) or Whale Watch (blue)…I’ll decide the day I’m about to cast on I’m sure .

#2) The yarn I’ve selected is Tangled Poets Backpacker, my only preselected colour is Dirty Denim, I will find something in the dye pots that will spark the inspiration.

#3) Any Lopi yarn is always on the top of my favourite list. The colour options of Lett Lopi are endless, so this pattern had to be on my 20 in 20 list.

#4) I fell in love with this sweater a long time ago, I’ve finally decided on which yarns I wanted to use. I’ve chosen Rapture by Sugarbush, and I believe I will actually make 2. The second one I’m going to give a go with Deluxe Dk Tweed (it knits to gauge perfectly, and I feel the tweed will sparkle)
Vintersol

#5) This perfect cardigan will be knit in Dawson and a second in Noro Ito

Loving your ambitious choices. Ginny is much like the cardigan I’m working on now so I might add a belt. And I can’t wait for my Backpacker kit to arrive and inspire my next project

Hi Heather…Happy New Year. Love your first five choices, especially Vintersol and Ramona. I have been looking for a cardigan pattern that I liked, and this may be the one. I will eagerly be waiting to see your next choices.
Happy travels…Margaret Schedler

Wow. I thought I might be able to make 20 things like shawls, hats or socks, (counts as two items). There you are choosing sweaters with beautifully patterned yokes. Enjoy the Lopi!
Happy New Year.
