Let's Chat about the new Yarn Cakes that have arrived!

This time of the year, as the cool evenings begin, and the brisk change in the leaves. I know many of us go into Christmas knitting frenzies. We wanted to share the newest “Cake” yarns that have arrived in the shop. They are in shop, and/or available to ship next day online.

Each of these are fabulous for accessories, quick projects, or just fun colourful pieces from kids to adults.

Premier Spun Colours – a traditional worsted weight or #4 weight yarn, each cake has 419 yards, and is 200 grams. Lots of beautiful fall and winter colourways. These are ideal for cowls, and accessories. A blend of machine washable fibre of 65% Acryclic & 35% Superwash Merino Wool

Premier Sweet Roll – another traditional worsted weight or #4 weight yarn, each cake has 245 yards, and is 140 grams. So many colours to choose from 😊. These are ideal for accessories, and are wildly popular for blankets. A 100% machine washable yarn.

Premier Coffee Shop – a traditional DK weight or #3 weight yarn, each cake has 284 yards, and is 100 grams. Lovingly named after our favourite coffee flavours, there are several colours to choose from. These are ideal for cowls, accessories, sweaters, and blankets. A blend of machine washable fibre of 85% Acryclic & 15% Wool.

Premier Anti-Piling DK Colours- another traditional DK weight or #3 weight yarn, each cake has 383 yards, and is 140 grams. Lots of great colours. Perfect for kids wear. A 100% machine washable yarn.
