Welcome to Summer! (Despite the fact it’s June, and I am typing this with a sweater on, and debating whether to light the fire...)Although some may consider summer “Not Knitting Season” there are so many exciting things happening in our area, it would be a miss to not share all the upcoming local events.
Locally...
This Saturday, the annual Kawartha Yarn and Fibre Festival is on in Fenelon Falls. With 80 vendors, and lots of lovely squishy things, this is a great event. (Info below, ticket info, and other cool info is found on their website.

We will be in one of the big corner booths, so why not come visit, have a seat on our porch, and pet some great yarn.

This also is the kick off location for the Cottage Country Yarn Crawl...We are one of the 8 shops taking part again this year. We have dyed an exclusive colourway called “Coneflower” to fit the wildflower theme this year. Our 100 yard mini also includes a small packet of wildflower seeds (to help our bees) and celebrate our beautiful native flowers. You can find all the info online or at the Fenelon Show.
(You’ll get a bonus stamp for your passport if you are there)
